Katana’s interview with Authors Dr. Emilia Ripoll and Mark Saunders
Today, we will be talking about:
- No matter how depleted the state of your health may be, you always have choices, and you can heal.
- The 7-point plan for healing your body — and your prostate — because a healthy prostate cannot exist in an unhealthy body.
- For men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, this is not the end of the world. There are so many new treatments available, so many ways to heal.
Dr. EMILIA A. RIPOLL, M.D. has been practicing urology and urologic oncology in the Denver metro area for more than 25 years. Born in Barcelona, Spain and educated in the United States, Dr. Ripoll blends the best of European and American medicine. She graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine with honors, did her residency and post-doctorate fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, and received her medical acupuncture training at UCLA. As an American Urological Association Foundation Scholar, Dr. Ripoll researched genetic predisposition and the role of proto-oncogenes in the development of prostate cancer.
Mark Saunders is a writer, editor, publisher, public speaker, and an 11-year prostate cancer survivor. As an active surveillance prostate cancer patient, Mark did not receive traditional treatment like surgery or radiation. Instead, he dramatically overhauled his lifestyle, and his cancer went away. More importantly, it hasn’t come back since.
As a prostate cancer survivor, Mark has dedicated his life to sharing what he has learned about health and wellness — a journey he calls, “Inside out, round about, and back again.”
